My Story
Hi, I’m Kayla. I’m a mortgage advisor, a mom of three, an Arkansas native, and my husband served 11 years in the Army.
My husband and I grew up together in Vilonia, Arkansas, and have known each other since we were nine years old. We graduated as Vilonia Eagles, attended college in Conway, and still have family deeply rooted in Central Arkansas. After the Army, we made Northwest Arkansas home.
Homeownership is personal to me because financial stability was not something I grew up taking for granted. I was raised in a manufactured home, and there were times when we used the oven for heat or boiled water so we could bathe.
I do not share that for sympathy. I share it because it shaped how I see homeownership and how I care for the people I work with. I understand what it feels like when stability seems out of reach, and I also understand how much it can change a family when it finally becomes possible.
That is also why I created my Mortgage Ready program. I believe you deserve help even if you are not ready to buy a home today. I will work with you one-on-one to understand what is standing in the way, work through credit or financial challenges, and create a clear, realistic plan for moving forward.
For some people, that means getting preapproved today. For others, it means preparing for next year. Either way, you will leave knowing where you stand and what to do next.
